Privacy Policy

What We Collect

We collect information you provide when creating an account: your email address, business name, and trade type. We also collect the quote and customer information you enter when using the service (customer names, job descriptions, quote amounts). We collect basic usage data to improve the product.

How We Use It

Your data is used solely to provide the QuoteWon service — generating follow-up messages and tracking your quotes. We use your trade type and job descriptions to generate AI follow-ups via the Anthropic Claude API. We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your customer data for advertising.

Data Storage

All data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) on servers located in the United States. Your data is protected by Row Level Security — you can only ever access your own data. Payments are processed by Stripe and we never store credit card information.

AI Processing

When you generate a follow-up, your job description and customer name are sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate the message. Anthropic's privacy policy governs how they handle this data. We do not use your data to train AI models.

Communication Records

QuoteWon stores records of all AI-generated follow-up messages created through the platform. As a data processor acting on behalf of our users, we retain:

• The full text of every generated follow-up message
• Timestamps of when messages were generated and sent
• Delivery channel (email, SMS, or phone script)
• Associated customer contact information provided by the user

Retention period: Records are retained for the lifetime of the user account and for three (3) years following account termination. After this period, customer PII is permanently anonymized while message text and timestamps are retained for aggregate, anonymized analytics.

Our users are the data controllers for their customers' information. Users are responsible for responding to data subject access and erasure requests from their own customers. The Quote History page provides an “Anonymize Customer” tool that removes customer PII from a quote record while preserving the communication log, supporting compliance with erasure requests.

Your Rights

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your account settings page or by contacting us at support@quotewon.com. When you delete your account, all your quotes, follow-ups, and profile data are permanently removed within 30 days.

Cookies

We use cookies only for authentication (keeping you logged in). We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
