Overview

QuoteWon (quotewon.com) is a software platform for home service contractors — including HVAC, plumbing, roofing, landscaping, electrical, and cleaning businesses. Contractors who subscribe to QuoteWon may use the platform to send SMS follow-up messages to their own customers regarding quotes, estimates, and service inquiries.

QuoteWon sends these messages on behalf of its contractor subscribers via a 10-digit long code (10DLC) phone number registered with The Campaign Registry (TCR) under the A2P 10DLC framework.

Who Receives Messages

SMS messages are sent only to end customers (homeowners or property owners) who have provided their phone number to a contractor and consented to receive follow-up communications about a quote or service request. QuoteWon does not send unsolicited messages to any recipient.

How Consent Is Obtained

Before any SMS message is sent through QuoteWon, the contractor must confirm that their customer has consented to receive text messages. Consent is typically obtained in one of the following ways:

  • Verbal consent: The customer verbally agrees to receive follow-up texts when scheduling a quote or service call.
  • Written consent: The customer signs an estimate, work order, or contact form that includes authorization to communicate via SMS.
  • Online quote request form: The customer submits an online form requesting a quote and provides their phone number, agreeing that the contractor may follow up via text.

QuoteWon's platform includes a built-in consent confirmation step. When a contractor enables SMS delivery for a customer, they confirm within the QuoteWon dashboard that the customer has consented to receive text messages. No message is sent without this confirmation.

Types of Messages Sent

Messages sent through QuoteWon may include:

  • Initial follow-up after a quote or estimate is provided
  • Check-in messages asking if the customer has questions about a quote
  • Reminder messages before a quote expires
  • Job scheduling confirmations and status updates
  • Customer care responses to inbound inquiries

Messages are transactional and customer care in nature. QuoteWon does not send promotional marketing messages to customers on behalf of contractors.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies by contractor and customer engagement. Typically, a customer will receive between 1 and 5 messages per quote or service inquiry. Contractors control the number of messages sent and are expected to follow applicable carrier guidelines.

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

How to Opt Out

You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. You will receive a one-time confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages will be sent to your number.

Privacy & Data

SMS opt-in data and consent information are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. Phone numbers collected are used solely to deliver the follow-up messages requested by the subscribing contractor on behalf of their business.
